Enrollment
How do I get started?
The registration packet must be filled out before your child may stay. The packet includes an emergency card immunization form, security card form, our information sheet, and a newsletter. It contains such information as contact information for the parents/guardians and for anyone who we would call in case of an emergency, as well as any medical information that would help us provide the best care for your child. A $40 registration fee is due at that time.

It is really helpful for Trettin teachers if you plan your first visit and registration from 9:30 - 10:20 am. This is when many of the children are arriving and settling in and we can visit with you, show you the classroom and you can fill out your registration packet while your child is playing. If this time does not work out for you, please contact us to set up another time to meet you and your child.

How do I pay for Trettin Drop In Preschool?
Trettin takes cash, checks and credit cards. Tuition is $8.50 per hour, rounded up to the nearest half hour, to be paid daily. There is a minimum tuition charge of $8.50 per day attended per child. There is a one-time registration fee of $40 per family.

Two punch card options are available: 10 hours for $85.00 (plus free half-hour) and a 20 hour card for $170.00 (plus free hour). Cards expire after one year. If you prefer cash, please use exact change only. We usually do not have the proper change. Monetary refunds are not available on tuition, punch cards, reservations, or registration (Including credits).

Trettin Monthly Pass: Are you a regular attendee of Trettin? Do you use Trettin more than 8 days a month? Would you like to reserve your space at Trettin for an entire month at a time? We are offering a way to reserve and pay at a 10% discount! Ask at the front desk about the Trettin Monthly Pass.

Can I make a reservation?

Reservations are available, but usually not necessary. Payment of one hour must be made ahead of time. No monetary refunds or credits are given for reservations.

What do I need to remember for drop-off time?
The following list should help you start your child's visit with ease:
  • Leave labeled child's coat and extra clothing on hooks in hallway
  • Children must wash hands
  • Sign in at the desk
  • If in diapers or potty training, write on the clipboard by the door
  • Put Show & Tell item in bin under sign up sheet
  • Put lunch in either no-nut or has-nuts bin (or indicate on sign-in sheet to buy a lunch)
  • Give your child a hug and enjoy your time!
What do I bring?
At Trettin we provide loving care for your child in a warm fun environment when you need it, but there are a few things you need to bring to help us provide the best care for your child while he/she is with us. Here's a short list of things to bring for your child. Please LABEL everything with your child's name! Masking tape is available by the front desk.
  • Extra diapers or pull ups
  • An extra set of clothing in case of accidents or drink spills
  • Packed finger-food lunch (we also can provide lunch for $4.25) - nuts okay, lunch 12:15 - 12:45pm
  • Coat for outdoor playground fun!
  • A Show & Tell item if they are here during that time period. No weapons are allowed for Show & Tell. It's fun if you tie your Show & Tell item into the curriculum of the day/week. Please see curriculum for the weekly curriculum subjects!
