The UCUCC Child Care Programs include the Child Learning and Care Center (CLCC) and Trettin Drop In Preschool. The programs serve up to 85 children each weekday, ages 15 months to pre-kindergarten. We are located near the University of Washington and share space with University Congregational Church. We strive to provide high quality child care in a non-sectarian, diverse, and safe environment. A shared Operating Agreement and partnership with University Congregational Church specifies use of shared spaces and supports tuition scholarships for low income families. Executive Director of UCUCC Child Care Programs

The UCUCC Child Care Programs include the Child Learning and Care Center (CLCC) and Trettin Drop In Preschool. The programs serve up to 85 children each weekday, ages 12 months to pre-kindergarten. A shared Operating Agreement and partnership with University Congregational Church specifies use of shared spaces and supports tuition scholarships for low income families. Program information can be found at www.childlearning.org and www.trettindropin.org The Executive Director of Child Care Programs provides leadership and overall management for the Programs. The Executive Director will:

*Meet WAC requirements for center director. BA preferred.

*Work closely with CLCC and Trettin staff, to ensure that the programs provide quality childcare services to a diverse population.

*Demonstrate knowledge of standards of DCYF, DSHS, Early Achievers, and our Program Policies, and ensure programs meet these standards and maintains these certifications.

*Hire, supervise, and evaluate staff.

*Communicate with and support families to ensure positive relationships with good oral and written communication skills.

*Prepare and monitor program budgets, expenditures, and revenues in accordance with Child Care Board fiscal policies, as well as demonstrate knowledge of, or willingness to learn, Pro-Care management system.

Desired Start: As soon as hired, or as arranged

Full time salaried, exempt position. Minimum 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, some evening meetings.

$55,000 -$60,000, DOE.

Generous benefits including medical, paid time off (vacation, sick leave, holidays, and other leaves), and retirement contribution.
